This is kinda symbolic in terms of what's happening in my life right now.
Without sounding cliche'd, selling my soul to the Devil in Glasses has opened up a whole new world. A mere tablet with a traditional logo on the back, more commonly called an overpriced rectangle or an iTouch on steroids, has made everything a little more relaxed, and a little more convenient.
E-Mailing notes by a simple tap of a screen, the ability to create Word and Excel documents, keeping up to date with social networking, browsing the net, and having all my music on Spotify Premium has made life so much easier. (Not to mention the 100s of apps for work and the games)
The relevance of the apple pie is, what is nicer and more appealing than an Apple Pie?
